Why is a new site being built?

QatarLiving has grown from a hobby project to one of Qatar's biggest and most visited websites over a couple of years.

Over the years the community as well as the demands on the website as grown extensively. But the technical platform hasn't always followed the same development to support its growth. And although QatarLiving remains a popular website, articles, forum posts, classified ads and other useful information have become difficult to find and search for.

Apart from that, we want to utilize modern web technologies to improve the design, usability and other user experience aspects of the site to deliver a better and more useful product to people visiting and using the site. That's why we're building a new site!
